Audit Senior - Practice

CLIENT

My client are a large accountancy practice based in Dublin City Centre. They have a reputation for a quality oriented approach to client requirements and boast an international presence.

ROLE

You will perform and manage the following responsibilities:

Organise and oversee the planning, execution and completion of audits, accounting and other assignments.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.

Take responsibility for enhancing the firm's knowledge, by contributing all best practices and lessons learned into our global knowledge systems.

Demonstrate a reasonable knowledge of an industry or sector. Apply new developments in the industry in simple client situations, drawing from research and benchmark data.


REQUIREMENTS

* Qualified Accountant - e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified
* Minimum of 3 years relevant experience
* Ability and willingness to work primarily on challenging and complex projects
* Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) & US GAAP preferable but not required
* Excellent commercial, management and organisational skills
* Strong verbal and written communications skills
