Alcohol Worker

A Service within the Newcastle area requires an Alcohol Worker to compliment their tight knit team. Experience alcohol misuse treatment is fundamental with group/key work within a team that applies structured intervention plans in a service that caters for a mixture of Alcohol and substance misuse clients.

The successful candidate will be assessing , planning, implementing and evaluating structured treatment programs for a caseload of clients in with complex alcohol misuse issues. Candidates with knowledge/experience with psychosocial intervention techniques, triage, titration, care plans and GP liaison is would be of great benefit. There may be opportunity for contract extension which exceeds the initial duration.
