Quality & Environment Manager
I managed the day to day quality and environmental requirements of a packaging company where I was involved and repsonsible for ensuring all processes and procedures were executed by all sections of the plant on a daily basis.
I was the main contact for ISO surveillance audits, Customer Audits and conducted Supplier audits as required. My day was not only quality related, there were Health and Safety processes that also came under my remit, these included Housekeeping audits, ensuring that all supplies were available in First Aid boxes and the recording of near misses, incidents and accidents.
More recently I have been employed by a company who were in serious trouble with their ISO 9001 system, my brief was to ensure that the surveillance audit was passed and ensuring continuing certification, the audit was passed with zero issues.
