A member of the Black Hills Sioux Nation Treaty Council, Mr. Red Cloud is also a tribal attorney for Red Cloud Law Firm, promoting the general welfare of members of the Oglala Sioux Tribe through the conservation and protection of tribal lands. The firm draws on extensive experience with Tribal, Treaty and Trust law to provide innovative solutions for both individuals and corporations . In 2012, Jim Red Cloud assisted in submitting a petition with the United Nations seeking to recognize the Oglala Sioux Tribe as a member nation.
