Sun Microsystems - Marketing Manager

I worked in the Brand Experience Group at Sun Microsystems from May 2007 through February 2010. I joined the group as an MBA intern and was promoted to Marketing Manager in March 2008. In my most recent capacity, I was responsible for driving Java Brand Marketing, Sun's consumer facing brand. I worked to increase preference for Java technology among consumers through and a variety of brand programs.

My other projects at Sun include virtual world marketing strategy (including presence in Second Life) and marketing for Sun's Eco Responsibility program. In all capacities at Sun, I have worked to increase awareness of the Sun and Java Brands and drive positive conversations in the marketplace.
