I hold a Masters Degree in Religious Education and have undertaken research on the area of pastoral and community development.

I have 16 years experience in religious education at primary, secondary and third level, including lecturing, module development, supervision of students, chaplaincy and school management.

I have also spent the past 10 years attempting to initiate and develop community based pastoral structures that empower and enable communities of faith to become engaged in the day to day dealings of pastoral life.

I have also worked with the Elphin Pastoral Development office in the development of faith formation courses, training of pastoral councils at parish and diocesan level and the development of clustering in the Aughanagh / Geevagh and Riverstown Pastoral Areas in the Diocese of Elphin.
