Built a new Systems Integration department from first hire to high performing Agile team, in a dynamic global startup environment. Working with Mobile Operators all over the world, ezetop now
delivers international mobile top up to over 1 billion subscribers from over 300,000 websites and retail outlets globally. The Systems Integration department (based out of the head office in Dublin Ireland, with team members in Miami USA and Dubai UAE) integrates with Mobile Operator billing systems, SMSC and USSD gateways and web / retail billing hubs globally within a 24x7 always up environment.

Established scalable and flexible project processes as well as managing a pipeline of anywhere up to 140 projects at any time. Design and code of all integrations is based on a fully Test Driven
Development methodology. Introduced Subversion (SVN) for Source Control and introduced Continuous Integration with Cruise Control.

2008 - 2009

Input Systems - Product Manager

Took over responsibility for product direction for the Flagship ERP system (Origins) from the Managing Director. Developed a strategy for splitting the core product into 5 product streams for the 5 main customer bases (this was a client industry driven exercise – Media clients, Stock clients and Services clients have different needs and were all suffering from “churn” caused by continual growth of the product to fit the diversifying customer base). Developed a product roadmap to give forward visibility for the future of the product as well as implementing a new release schedule in tandem with the development manager. Also involved in integration of document management system and a complementary document delivery system to work with the core application as well as integrating with other systems (web services based). Continued with technical consultancy for partner clients as well as IT Admin including project management of move to new premises and migration of network to Windows Server 2008 (and transfer to Hyper-V for Virtualisation) as well as hosting published applications for business partners over Terminal Services gateway / Terminal Services Remote Applications. Upgraded mail system to Exchange 2007.

Implemented new QA department. Strategic planning for QA department, company wide internal process review and change management; Design and creation of test cases and suites with team of QA engineers. Took over administration of testing and bug tracking system based on Lotus Notes (Domino running on Linux). Position involved extensive work with MS SQL Server 2000 / 2005 and optimisation of code. Continued as IT Admin – oversaw move to new premises and project managed migration of network.
