yeah -
I reckon the real threat to flash and other similar technologies (silverlight) it html5 - in particular the capabilities that html5 has in integrating with the desktop -
drag ndrop between browser and desktop without any permissions/signed code etc -

Flash really annoys me as its such a processor hog.

I would love to see what's Adobe's comment on that. Here is one interesting solution for transcoding flash using JavaScript and HTML 5 compliant browser. Maybe that's the future of Flash...
