I am a Hungarian theatre maker living in Cork, Ireland for the past seven years. I have an interest in set design and exploring new structures within theatre. To date I have directed three full length plays and was assistant director on a number of productions including Chatroom by Enda Walsh (dir. Donal Gallagher) and Fuck My Life (dir. Pol Heayvaert). I am presently the Artistic Director of Makeshift Ensemble. My other interest in the arts is the professional development of young artists and I have worked with Solstice (Cork Midsummer Festival) for two years as curator and producer as part of a team of four as well as I was programme manager of the TITLE Residency Programme in 2012 and initiated the Firestarter European network for youth and theatre. which Makeshift Ensemble is a member of.

Makeshift Ensemble - Artistic Director

Running various projects and responsible for the creative management of the ensemble. Current projects of the ensemble include:

Let's Play! a theatre development project comprising eight public sharings

Wonderous Stories an international multi-disciplinary arts residency in Ommen, Holland where Makeshift participates as a Partner Organisation.

Firestarter, a partnership building activity in March 2012 in Cork.

Solstice - Co-Curator

Co-Curator of Solstice a four day festival in association with the Cork Midsummer Festival. Responsible for Artist Liaison and the creative curation of the event. Also Programme Manager in 2012 of the TITLE artist residency programme. Other duties included communication, fundraising, development, liaison with various local and national arts organisations.

Cork Midsummer Festival / CAMPO / Granary Theatre - Production Assistant

I was production assistant and stage manager for the project Out of Order that this year resulted in two work-in-progress showings and is planned to open next summer as part of the Cork Midsummer Festival.

2006 - 2006

Boomerang Theatre Company - Project Manager

I have been responsible for the different projects of the company consisting an international training programme for artists from 27 Euromed (TRACKS) and an international conference on social arts. I also worked during this time as an assistant director to Donal Gallagher on Chatroom by Enda Walsh and assisted in the facilitation of the youth theatre workshops of the theatre.

Bachelor/Degree - BA (Hons) Drama and Theatre Studies International, Drama and Theatre Studies, Hispanic Studies

University College Cork

I have received a first class honours degree and was granted the title of college scholar. In 2008/2009 I was granted an Erasmus Scholarship and spent a year abroad at the Universitat de Barcelona. I also was member of the Drama society (Dramat) for four years and in 2009/2010 I was the Secretary of the Hispanic Society.
