I have joined the IT area 7 years ago. I've been providing economy, security and stability using Unix systems that are worthy of note. I manage services like e-mail servers, proxy, web server, firewalls, H.A clusters, tomcat, ftp, ldap and database installation/maintenance. I have also some experience and knowledge about VOIP PABX like Asterisk, monitoring programs like Nagios, BigBrother, Cacti and mrtg and Shell/Perl scripting.I have 3 international certifications (RHCE, CompTia Linux+ and LPI).

IBM - Unix Security Analyst
Responsible for the creation and configuration of settings files for tools (VSA, Fusion) that perform Health Checks according to clients’ policies, based on documents such as GSD331 and ITCS104. Perform manual Health Check when it is needed. Develop and modify Unix scripts (KSH, BSH, Perl) to improve VSA and Fusion. Scan Unix servers to find missing patches. Raise and update changes to install the patches and correct deviations of the HC reports when when it is needed. Be aware of CIRATS schedule to open and close records in the proper dates.
