Ernie Anastos has been delivering the news to the residents of New York City for the past three decades. A former anchor at several New York City stations including WABC-TV, WCBS-TV, and WWOR-TV, Ernie Anastos currently anchors the top-rated FOX 5 News at 10:00 p.m. on WNYW-TV with co-anchor Dari Alexander. Ernie Anastos has won numerous Emmy Awards, including Best Newscast in New York, and he is a member of the New York State Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.

Ernie Anastos has considerable other experience in the world of media, serving as a substitute host for The CBS Morning Show and ABC’s Good Morning America. Mr. Anastos has also produced and hosted several television programs, including Families, America Wants to Know, and Polling America. He is an accomplished author and has written a children’s book entitled Ernie and the Big Newz, the proceeds of which benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. In addition, Mr. Anastos is a columnist for Family Circle, a nationally distributed women’s magazine with a circulation of 3.9 million. Ernie Anastos has two adult children, and he currently resides in Armonk, New York, with his wife.
