Senior communications professional, qualified to MA level, with proven experience over of using targeted public relations strategies to achieve results for a range of organisations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
I have worked in a number of high-profile communications agencies in Dublin - now employed by Carr Communications. As part of this role, I am currently seconded on a part time basis to the press office of An Garda Síochána as Public Relations and Internal Communications Manager.
My experience in public relations and communications strategy developement and implementation is wide-ranging and covers media relations, event management, sponsorship management, media training, crisis management, corporate communications, social media and internal communications.

Interests
I am an active member of La Touche Players and my other hobbies include reading, cinema, theatre and jogging.
I worked as part of a team to publish and promote a collection of new writing in aid of Habitat for Humanity, in association with the Irish Writers’ Centre.
I have conversational Irish, French and German. I hold a Diploma in Speech and Drama - Teacher, awarded by Royal Irish Academy of Music.
Memberships
An active council member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, I have been Honorary Treasurer since January 2011.
I have also served as Honorary Secretary, (December 2009 to December 2010) and Chair of the Member Services Sub-Committee (November 2007 to December 2010).
