Noonan - HR Business Partner

HR Business Partner for Noonan, leading providers of cleaning and Security Services since March 2008. I am part of a HR team of five people working in partnership with management nationwide providing support and advice in every aspect of people management. Duties and responsibilities of the role include:

IR/ER Consultant: To coach, support, mentor and challenge Managers in the application of HR Policies and Practices and to provide guidance on HR issues in order to minimise risk and financial exposure.

Performance Development Plans: Scheduling and participating in PDP Meetings for all levels of Management.

Training: To compile a training needs analysis, training plan and to provide in-house Management Training nationwide to develop Managers and Supervisors within their role.

Recruitment: Identifying recruitment needs within the company, conducting interviews and making recommendations in the selection process.

To work in partnership with Managers in the development and maintenance of good working relationships with our Trade Union partners.

Transfer of Undertakings and Protection of Employment: Collating information for contracts secured or lost, liaising with the incumbent contractors to ensure a smooth handover.

Redundancies: Assessing suitable alternative positions for employees where possible and working in partnership with Managers to reduce impact of redundancy costs on the Company.

Preparation of case work and submissions for all third party hearings. Ensuring that all the relevant information provided is accurate and complete to aid the successful presentation of the case.

Management of contract reductions, minimising risk to company and to employee morale.
