Paperlinx IRE - Warehouse Manager

• Employed by Paperlinx to become part of a project team implementing a full ERP system (IBS). This entailed scripting, testing and the training of all warehouse personnel to the high standards required to fullfill customer needs.
• Introduced, monitored and maintained cycle counting for the first time in its Irish operations accross three warehouses to ISO standards. Daily audits where also carried out, with all the relevant documentation retained for inspection.
• Responsible for two stock transitions into a new purpose built facility. This required stock being moved from one facility to the other(Approx. 10,000 plts.), to be fully counted, inspected, re-located and the system transaction updated immediately to minimise customer operational concerns.
• Introduced a cost cutting exercise on overtime and the use of couriers, which I felt was making the company vulnerable to be abused and a lowering in company standards.
• Scheduled and monitored, drivers deliveries to ensure all customers recieved their orders within the timescales pre-arranged, twice daily.
• Managed timekeeping, absenteeism and holidays for all warehouing and driving personnel and where needed acted accordingly.
• Created and managed KPI's for managemant meetings on a weekly basis in relation to warehouse personnel, delevery schedules, customer orders, duration of drivers deliveries and costs.
• Worked closely with the operations manager, customer care and sales repersenitives to ensure all customers requirements and expectations where meet.
• Insured all persons working within the warehouse, adhered to all health ang safty regulations, with no exceptions.

Sercom Solutions - Warehouse Supervisor

• Assisted in the implementation of an off shore production and warehousing facility in the USA, relocating to Memphis TN for a period of 6 months to assist in all aspects of the facility set up.
• Responsible for the implementation of key warehousing methodologies within a facility of 50,000 sq feet, catering for some 15,000 pallet positions and 4,000 static pick faces, across in excess of 12,000 material masters.
• Managed key activities such as order fulfilment and distribution, for leading edge clients such as Palm, IBM, Canon and Apple.
• Responsible for the training of all warehouse personnel, in all aspects of warehousing, including certification for TSP (Turret Stock Picker) driving, warehouse management systems to Super User level, manual handling techniques and health and safety.
• Controlled all quality related functions and reporting within the warehouse to ISO standards.
• Specific responsibility for a major USA based customer which entailed full account management of all aspects from inventory receipts, warehousing, stock control through to final shipment to a pan European customer base.
• Managed customer on-site inventory audits and was fully responsible for generation of all stock control records and the maintenance of stock accuracy across a range of customers. The annual results achieved an average of 99.3% accuracy.
• Work closely with the Group Logistics Manager, and several other departments such as customer care, procurement, planning, production and shipping to ensure all customer expectations are met.
• On a daily basis ensure all system transaction occur in a timely manner to ensure stock accuracy is real time.
• Controlled the movement of material from the warehouse to production, fulfilment and shipping.
• Monitored staff time and attendance records weekly and addressed any relevant issues.
• Was part of the review and scoping team for the implementation of a fully integrated ERP system (SAP 4.6C), which also entailed documenting training manuals and carrying out training and assessment schedules for relevant personnel.
