Venue Holidays - Campsite Representative

Last year, I worked for 2 months outside Paris as a single courier, managing a holiday company independently, corresponding with head office and customers via phone, fax and email. This role required me to be 24 hours on call, to greet customers and to aid departures. I dealt with maintenance, solving problems, receiving commissions for selling holiday homes on-site, handling accounts, finances, organising paperwork, bookings and carrying out reception duties. I then transferred to Northern Italy for 5 months with similar duties changing from an independent Representative to working within a team, handling a more active environment where I frequently had to multi-task. Throughout this summer contract I collaborated with other companies and developed positive co-working relationships.

The Astrology Shop - Sales Assistant

In 2007, I took on the post Sales Assistant for 6 months at an Astrology Shop in London, which gave the experience of working in a very busy environment, and where I became adept at strategic selling techniques to promote a high end product. Astrological charts were the priority product and had to be promoted as such.
