I have worked through the ranks within the organisation to my current position as a senior business analyst in the group IT department. My most recent project focus have been on the payments areas looking at retail and commercial payment processing with the development of new online offerings.
I have extensive experience in requirements gathering and analysis, a high skill level in verbal and written communication together with the project management and budgeting skills associated with the role I perform.
My role involves extensive use of packages such as Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project and Word where I have developed a high competency.
Portarlington Golf Club - Treasurer / Captain
In a voluntary role as treasurer of Portarlington Golf Club I took on the transformation of the administration function of the club from a manual operation to an integrated computerised solution covering Salary & Payroll, Accounting, Membership Admin and a new booking system. Together with this I was instrumental in the establishment of the club website and I have been involved in subsequent design decisions in relation to the site.
I spent three years in this role and developed on to take on the role of club captain in our centenary year in 2008 which involved a large amount of PR in representing the club at home and at various national events and functions.
Systems used in the club were Tas Books, Sage Payroll and golf industry specific systems such as BRS for bookings and SMART for membership admin.

Interests
I am a keen golfer and currently play off a handicap of 12. I have an active interest in rugby having played the game for many years, I am now more of a supporter than anything else following Portarlington RFC, Leinster and Ireland.
In recent years I have developed an interest in gardening as we built a new house with the space to do so.
