for Oracle University courseware.
Main contact for the translation of all Oracle University courseware. These were Instructor led courses, Online, eLearning & Virtual courses. Translating the courses into 15 Languages, working with many different stakeholders which included 10 translation companies, 2 language specialists per language, SME’s, Development & Publishing teams & Financial Department. Overall the global team was over 100 contacts. The budget was $4 million per year.
Financed all the projects which included PO estimation, PO creation & would work with the Finance Dept to work out when Oracle would be invoiced. Monthly, Quarterly & Annual $ spend reports would also be prepared for the Finance Dept & Directors.
All delivered courses were made available to Employees & Clients. These would be in a Online, eLearning or Virtual format to suit the customer. Along with delivering online courses, reporting of delivery dates & details of new or update courses were communicated online.
Introduced a new cost and time efficient translation process for Oracle University courseware, where translation kits would be centrally prepared and easily sent to the translation vendors.
In 2011 delivered & released over 300 courses on schedule & in budget. This included managing the project finances & making sure the translation companies invoiced on time & to the correct amount.
Work with translation vendors on a daily basis to solve any queries.

Worked in a team to translate Oracle Software & iHelp projects into 28 languages. This meant working with 25 global translation companies, 4 language specialists per language, internal development & engineering teams.
Working to a budget of $6 million per project, we would adjust & maintain the translation matrix making sure all modules were translated for all 28 languages.
Communicated & scheduled with internal engineers and external translation vendors to prepare, translate & deliver these projects on schedule.
Controlled the Finance of all these projects within a budget of over $6 million
For such large projects we would constantly monitor, track & rate the translation companies performance ensuring the project is on schedule & to the highest translation standards. Post project reviews & complete vendor assessment reports would also be organized.
