Additionally, the schools provide child care for children ages 18 months through 5 years old.

Fountainhead Montessori of Livermore offers programs targeted to distinct age groups. Presenting families with a combined Prep and Toddler program, the class combines children of 18 months to two years of age in the classroom and places emphasis on activities designed to develop understanding of cause and effect, expand vocabulary, and allow for creativity. Children are encouraged to expand these abilities in artistic activities like singing and telling stories. The Fountainhead Montessori Livermore location also offers preschool/pre-kindergarten programs for three- to five-year-olds and pre-kindergarten/kindergarten courses for four- to six-year-olds. The latter program can be further tailored to parents’ schedules for either a full-day or half-day program.

The Fountainhead Montessori campus in Pleasant Hill provides a more structured organization of classes. While there is still a mixed-age class for the pre-kindergarten/kindergarten students, toddlers (18 months to 2 years of age) are separated from the preparatory program children (two- to three-and-a-half-year-olds).
