Originally founded by two brothers with sales, manufacturing, servicing, and distribution experience, AC Wholesalers of Doral, Florida, has combined integrity, expertise, and technical ability in order to become America’s largest direct integrated marketer for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products. Offering brands like Rheem, LG and Goodman, AC Wholesalers is also one of only two distributors for Grunaire ductless home comfort systems. AC Wholesalers’ professionalism, reliability, and quick turn-around time on orders earned the firm a partnership with the DIY Channel’s “Man Caves” television show.

AC Wholesalers has appeared in multiple episodes of “Man Caves.” In AC Wholesalers’ television debut, the cast of the show was in the middle of a renovation for rap star Snoop Dogg when they realized that they needed an air conditioning unit. They called in AC Wholesalers for a rush job, and the firm shipped a ductless air conditioning unit the same day. Two highly skilled technicians flew to the job site and installed the unit in less than half a day.

DIY was so pleased with the work and the caliber of the unit that they called AC Wholesalers in to help renovate actor Rainn Wilson’s man cave. For Wilson, technicians chose an LG system which allows homeowners to use custom art to cover the cooling units. Finally, DIY enlisted the company’s help for an episode about the winner of the “Ultimate MLB Man Cave” contest. For that project, consultants chose a Grunaire unit which would stand up to the frigid winter temperatures in Evanston, Illinois. As usual, the installation took less than half a day. The homeowners and their neighbors were impressed by Grunaire’s quiet, energy-efficient operation.

Since 2010, AC Wholesalers has been a proud member of the HVACStores.com family of companies. The firm has expanded considerably since Chief Executive Officer John Piquero founded it. For the last three years, it has occupied a dedicated headquarters building which includes a training center, a game room, and a large break room to create a pleasant working environment for employees.
