Role Overview:
I was approached by IFN Group (Galway Independent & Cork Independent newspapers) to assume position of Group Agency Manager with the view to increasing the advertising spend from agencies , large local advertisers and large brands for both newspapers .I was also tasked with developing and driving an advertising strategy for the online version . I was successful on all counts.

Primary Responsibilities:
Introduce and increase awareness of both papers (and the online version) as a commercially prudent and sustainable advertising solution for the Galway, Limerick & Cork region.
Manage a small but effective team of goal orientated sales consultants. Drive direct sales with regular visits to new clients and existing clients

Personal Strategy:
Engage with top-level marketing managers, sales directors, and local business owners and managers of all levels on a regular and consistent basis.
Develop a relationship building process/strategy which has directly led to a considerable, trusted and loyal client base in the region.
Leverage experience in dealing with national advertising agencies.
Add value for my Clients (Act as a consultant to clients in terms of developing tailored advertising solutions: Planning features, layouts, promotions etc.)

2009 :YoY sales increase 35%

Approached by JCDecaux Ireland, to assume the role of Key Account Manager with special responsibility of implementing the commercial policy for the Luas tram system in Dublin.
