I’m looking to further my career by taking on a managerial position to enhance my skills and knowledge. I have worked with young people in residential care for six years and three of those have been in a senior position. This has involved considerable responsibility and decision making duties such as delegation, chairing meetings, training staff and representing the company at outside agency meetings. I am passionate and committed and find that this transmits to the people I work with at all levels. I have developed strong, warm and passionate teams that have had the needs of the young people at the forefront of their minds. I have a strong belief in my own continuous improvement along with my team and the young people. I have an ongoing commitment to professional & personal development.

I currently work with Children & young people of whom have various needs, such as A.D.H. D, aspergers, Autism, EBD, mental health and learning difficulties. I am experienced in assisting & supporting the service users to access employment, education, training opportunities, housing, healthcare and others tools to further enhance their life’s, thus reaching their full potential. I am proficient in writing, devising and implementing care plans, placement plans and in doing so taking into account the individual needs of the service users.
