Responsible for development and enforcement of the credit policy and the credit quality of the loan portfolio. Develops, updates, implements and executes Loan policy. Develops, updates, implements and oversees effective risk rating system/process. Chairs the Officers Loan Committee (OLC). Manages and oversees all credit analysis and loan operations support functions. Actively participates in development and implementation of ongoing credit training. Assists in detection of any deterioration of loan quality. Monitors and manages loan portfolio concentration. Monitors and manages the Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss reserves.

Responsible for adjudicating and monitoring credit-related efforts for $4+Billion Wisconsin CRE team as well as all credit-related activities for M&I Capital Markets and Fixed Income Group.

• Resolved over $250 million in distressed credits through repatriation, asset sale and refinance.
• Drove Net Increase in Portfolio Metrics to comply with Corporate Directive by increasing portfolio coverage of impaired loans from 65% to over 80%.
