Topics covered in the course include air quality, noise, hydrological processes, water and wastewater treatment, solid and toxic waste management, fire safety engineering and environmental monitoring and control.

Part of the Trinity College Science undergraduate degree programme, the environmental science degree gave extensive background knowledge and teaching in all aspects of the environment.
