Profile Activity

In his role as founder and Executive Chairman of Go Daddy, Bob Parsons draws on nearly three decades of experience in software development. In 1984, he established Parsons Technology in his basement and began to write software programs. Within 10 years, he had grown the company into a 1,000-employee enterprise; in 1994, he sold it to Intuit for more than $60 million. Bob Parsons channeled the money from the sale into the founding of Jomax Technologies, which became Go Daddy in 1999.

Today, in addition to providing leadership and strategic guidance at Go Daddy, Bob Parsons contributes to a wide range of charities in his home state of Arizona and beyond. He supports the efforts of several health-related nonprofit and charitable organizations, including the American Heart Association, the Pulmonary Hypertension Association, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
