Create and maintain training programs for buyers and senior buyers within team
Maintain minimum inventory levels both On hand and at supplier without any impact to customer delivery metrics.
Create and Implement Strategies for the Purchasing Department.
Review current Approved Supplier Listing and Down Size.
Continuous Market Research to review possibilities/potential cost reductions in conjunction with Global Supply Chain Team.
Deputise for Purchasing Manager in his absence.
Coordinate annual Stock Take and implementation of Cycle Counting System for both Stockroom and Manufacturing Dept’s.
Monthly reporting on a global commodity’s
Daily monitoring and processing of materials and requests.
Lean and Six sigma implementation has being introduced into Arvato Digital Services, Greenbelt approved. I have taken part in two projects already which have produced various results and separate projects. Currently involved in two more teams.
Coordinate the outsourcing of 20-25 million discs annually to Germany and the UK this would include various types of product.
Part of various teams including Reach project and improve recycling process.
Initiated negotiations for MFD (Multi Function devices) with senior IT hardware officer. Which aloud scan to email and print to mailbox. Reduced page count and machinery required.
Sonopress Ireland Ltd - Logistics Team leader
Implemented AWH (Automatic Warehouse).
Dealt with goods-inn issues, Shipping and Inventory issues.
