My name is Astrid Nilsson. I´m a highly skilled insurance worker with excellent administration experience. Currently I´m unemployed, due to lack of job opportunities at my former employer Länsförsäkringar Bergslagen Insurances, where I worked for 5 years. While being unemployed and applying for jobs, I´m also currently a fulltime administration trainee for the Swedish Lutheran Church. At Länsförsäkringar Bergslagen Insurances I worked with claims (personal injuries, sickness and accident, travel insurance and home insurance). The work tasks covered costumer contacts (via mail correspondence, e-mails, phone calls and personal visits) aswell as costumer payments and general insurance advising. I have the Personal Injury Claims Diploma, provided by Länsförsäkringar Insurances. I have also taken the general insurance product classes, provided by Länsförsäkringar Insurances. Through Mälardalen University I have a Bachelor´s degree in Sociology, and have also studied Vocational Rehabilitation, Health Economy, Public Health, Psychology and Education. During my university studies I had six months of fulltime training at the Swedish Social Insurance Acency. I´m single, 39 years old, with no children. My personality is calm, social and very organized. I can work independent aswell as in a team. I´m proficient with PC and Macintosh, aswell as Internet, MS Office and modern databases. I speak English and Swedish fluently. I´m familiar to Ireland through earlier visits, and very interested in living and working there. I have no notice period at my current trainee position, and can relocate to Irland in approximately one month.
