Tutor with South West Mayo. - Co-Ordinator

I organise the recruitment of participants on the " Winning New Opportunities" Programme. This programme was a personal development programme designed to help long term unemployed people to access Education , Training and Employment options. I organise the management of tutors training on courses and source venues, maintain records and evaluate outcomes of course participants.

Providing Training for the community and voluntary sector.
We offer training for community organisations from capacity building, accessing funding, quality assurance, compliance. We also help people wishing to start their own business with developing their idea, identifying supports and through our network and experience within the community development sector , assist them with identifying the right supports for them.
We provide a range of different courses from foreign languages to IT and personal development.

2008 - 2009

Mayo Intercultural Action - Education, Training and Employment Facilitator

I worked with unemployed immigrants wishing to access further education and training opportunities. I also mentored people on a one to one basis helping them access work experience and return to education.

2005 - 2008

Mayo VEC - Adult Education Tutor

I worked as a part-time Adult Education Tutor delivering modules in Communications, IT and TEFL. I worked in the National Orientation Centre for Programme Refugees.
